Federal Candidates


As a candidate for federal office I, ____________________________, pledge to the citizens of Illinois that I shall vote on all legislation in accordance with the following principles:

1. Defend the United States Constitution as intended by our Founding Fathers
2. Balance the budget with spending cuts and not new taxes
3. Protect life and strengthen the traditional family
4. Implement rules to require a three-fifths vote to pass a tax increase
5. Enforce current U.S. immigration laws
6. No bailouts for failing companies
7. No earmarks or special appropriations in swap for votes
8. Reform healthcare with market based solutions not government control
9. Utilize ALL our natural resources to lower energy costs and reduce our dependence on foreign energy supplies
10. Not infringe upon the right to keep and bear arms
11. Vote only for judges who are Constitutionalists not Activists
12. Improve education by funding children, not bureaucracies
13. Implement a fairer tax system
14. Ask if the legislation is Constitutional before deciding how to vote
15. Will meet regularly with constituents
16. Read every bill before voting on it
